State Islamic Institute (IAIN) PALU STARTS STRATEGIZING QUALITY IMPROVEMENT

Palu, - State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Palu, Central Sulawesi, began to develop strategies for maximizing and strengthening academic quality improvement for the college's competitiveness.

"The work meeting is one of the coordination media that impact on the selection of proposals and inputs, followed by a strategic program to improve the quality," said Rector IAIN Palu Prof. Dr. H Sagaf S Pettalongi MPd, while delivering speech at the same time opening IAIN Palu 2018 Work Meeting , at Mercure Hotel Palu on Thursday.

IAIN Palu Work Meeting held the theme of synchronization of work program for quality improvement and competitiveness, followed by 65 participants from various faculties, institutions, units within the islamic university environment itself.

Therefore, He said, the work meeting should have a positive impact on the work plan of the entire academic community in 2019.

On the other hand, Prof. Sagaf firmly added, all the civitas need to develop a work plan with a smart idea without putting aside the activities and programs that have been compiled in the previous year.

Thus, activities that are not relevant to the effort to improve the quality of competitiveness, then no longer maintained and proposed back through the meeting.

"Surely we see things that have been done in the previous year, what needs to be added and developed and so on," said Prof. Sagaf.

This education management expert explains the quality improvement that impacts on the improvement of competitiveness intended for improvement and progress of IAIN Palu.

He hopes all the academic community members who are directly involved in the work meeting, to pour the smart ideas so that the meeting will produce a solution to the problems faced by every faculty, unit and institution in IAIN Palu.

"There may be problems in each of the faculties that have not been resolved, so this institute's work meeting is expected to be coordinated to find a way out so that it can be applied to the work program in 2019," he explained.
