Palu, - Rector of the State Islamic Institute (IAIN) of Palu, Central Sulawesi, Prof. Dr. H Sagaf S Pettalongi MPd advised the college students to participate in local and national level competitions.

"In principle, we , the leaders support the students' activities in terms of competition," said Prof Sagaf Pettalongi, in Palu on Wednesday.

This educational management expert admits that some of the students have participated in local, national and international competitions held by government and certain agencies in Central Sulawesi. In fact, students are able to compete with other universities and achieve a satisfactory champion for IAIN Palu academic community.

One of them, sixth semester student of English tadris, Ulul Azmi ranks third on the selection of Student Exchange between countries (PPAN) in 2018.The selection was held in April 2018 followed by students from various universities in Central Sulawesi.

Women born Tolitoli District June 25, 1997 that, got 180 , 14 points lower than the winner who scored 194 on the selection.

In addition, BEM unstitut students won the two-tier Central Sulawesi in an open debate about information disclosure, organized by the Public Information Commission (KIP) of Central Sulawesi.

Vice Chairman of MUI Sulteng assessed the achievement as proof that the capacity and ability to compete IAIN Palu students can be relied upon, as well as get rid of other universities in Central Sulawesi.

"I personally and as the Rector of IAIN Palu appreciate the achievements achieved by the students, toward the efforts of developing the good reputation of this institute, and shown the existence of BEM that is able to compete with BEM from various public and private universities," explained Prof. Sagaf Pettalongi.

He further expects the students continuing to create, improving their capacity and ability to compete which positively impact to the development of IAIN Palu.
