Sigi, Central Sulawesi, (PR- IAIN) - State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Palu in Sigi District, is expected to have an impact on improving the quality of education.
Regent of Sigi, Mohammad Irwan Lapatta hoped the inauguration of IAIN Palu building in Sigi, could be beneficial for the advancement of education including religious education of Islam.
"I congratulate on the inauguration of the IAIN Palu building and hope that with this inauguration, IAIN lecture building can be useful for education," said Regent of Sigi, Mohammad Irwan Lapatta in Sigi.
Mohammad Irwan also hopes that IAIN Palu in Sigi can graduate students who have the ability and skills for competitiveness.
Not only that, he said, IAIN Palu in Sigi must also graduate scholars who could be the pride of the region, nation and religion.
Mohammad Irwan argues that quality improvement becomes one of the most fundamental methods, which has a direct impact on the improvement of human resources.
With the improvement of education quality, we are able to realize qualified human resources that have skills," he said.
Meanwhile, Rector of the State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Palu, Central Sulawesi, Prof. Dr. H Sagaf S Pettalongi MPd stated that the institute he leads continues to meet the needs of the community.
"Increased facilities and infrastructure owned by IAIN Palu, is automatically an effort to answer the needs of the community," said Rector IAIN Palu Prof. Dr. H Sagaf S Pettalongi MPd when submitting a report on the inauguration of IAIN Palu building, Pombewe Village, Biromaru District, Sigi, Friday.
Prof. Sagaf Pettalongi called the inauguration of two lecture buildings is one of the great history that was born from the commitment and seriousness of the state Islamic institute he leads to the intellectual life of the nation.
One of the problems faced by State Islamic Religious Colleges (PTKIN) including IAIN Palu is not just to provide access to the community to gain knowledge in universities but also to build intelligence and community skills to compete.
Therefore, said Prof. Sagaf Pettalongi, IAIN Palu seeks to improve the quality for the improvement of competitiveness in the direction and orientation of the development of the college he leads.
IAIN Palu inaugurated two three-story lecture buildings with a capacity of approximately 30 classes, on Friday March 9, 2018.
The inauguration was attended by the General Director of Islamic Education Ministry of Religious Affairs Kamaruddin Amin, Regent Sigi Mohammad Irwan Lapatta, Officials Representing the Governor of Central Sulawesi Legal Expert Staff Siti Norma Mardjanu and Rector IAIN Palu Prof. Dr. H Sagaf S Pettalongi MPd.
