Palu, 10/15 (PR- IAIN Palu) - A number of mobiles in the form of chairs, tables, cabinets and electronics belonging to the State Islamic Institute (IAIN) of Palu, Central Sulawesi, were destroyed can no longer be used, due to the earthquake and tsunami hit.
"Many tables, chairs, cabinets and electronics in the form of computers, LCD computers, and laptops were destroyed by the earthquake and tsunami," said Deputy Chancellor for Academic and Development of the Palu IAIN Institute, Dr. Abidin Djafar, in Palu on Monday.
At present, movable and immovable assets including destroyed, severely damaged and lost mobiles and electronics belonging to the Ministry of Religion that are on IAIN Palu are being re-recorded to find out the amount.
During the tsunami, some of the assets of the Palu IAIN moved to the settlement location on Jalan Pangeran Diponegoro, Bumi Bahari. Some of it was dragged by the tsunami. The tsunami also hit the rector's building, the Sharia Faculty lecture building and the Auditorium building.
damaged were LPM and LP2M, academic buildings, libraries, lecturer buildings, laboratory and language development, and ICT buildings. In addition to mobiler and electronics, the awards, certificates, trophies and other awards were lost to the tsunami on Friday 28 September 2018.
Several operational vehicles belonging to universities were also dragged down by the tsunami mud on Friday evening. Some of the assets of IAIN Palu were also lost because of being looted by a group of irresponsible people. It is estimated that state losses reached hundreds of billions of rupiah.
