The State Islamic Institute (IAIN) of Palu, Central Sulawesi, immediately build two three-story lecture buildings on the second campus located in the Pombewe Village of Biromaru Sub-District, Sigi Regency, after the earthquake and licuifaction disaster.
"All the processes regarding the development plan have been carried out, God willing, the first stone laying and construction began after Eid Al-Fitr 2019," said the Head of Planning Sub Division of IAIN Palu, Ahdar, Wednesday.
Construction of two three-story lecture buildings with a capacity of 24 classes in the village, using a budget sourced from the State Sharia Securities (SBSN) in 2019.
Ahdar said, the construction process will begin around June 2019, and the process will take several months. The construction of the two lecture buildings is a post-disaster academic recovery effort. This development costs around IDR 25 billion in non-pure rupiah.
IAIN Palu in Sigi Regency, its existence and function to educate the nation's life which led to supporting acceleration of human development from the aspect of education.
It is also to build human civilization and give birth to millennial generations that are supported by quality and skills to be competitive in the era of globalization.
" IAIN Palu has a very important and strategic role in supporting the acceleration of human development in Sigi," he said.
The college can be a fortress of civilization that maintains, while developing the culture that exists in Sigi. IAIN Palu has approximately 25 hectares of land in Sigi which is used for the development of the university.
