THE COMMITTEE HAS COMPLETED THE SCHEDULES OF AICIS 2018

Palu, 3/4 (IAIN-PR) - The 2018 Local Committees of the Annual International Conference on Islamic Studies (AICIS) XVIII has completed the schedule, as a preparatory work plan for the conference, in Palu, Central Sulawesi.

The completion of the event was discussed in a committees meeting led by Dr Hilal Malarangan as the secretary of the committees and Dr. Askar Ahmad the deputy chairman, in the senate hall of IAIN Palu, Monday 2 April 2018.

The composition of the event covers several areas, firstly, secretarial, administrative and financial, publications, public relations and documentation information, accommodation, transportation, decoration / fixtures, exhibition tours and bazaars. Then the service / LO field, protocol / security, consumption, trial and field events.

"Preparations from these various fields have been partially implemented and some have been processed," said Secretary of the AICIS XVIII Committee Dr. H. Hilal Malarangan.

IAIN Palu hosted the implementation of AICIS XVIII, having won the trust of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia and the support of Central Sulawesi Provincial Government.

The national and international activities are planned to bring Vice President Jusuf Kalla to open the event which will be held on 17 - 20 September 2018.

"AICIS to XVIII has been set to take place on 17-20 September 20, 2018. If AICIS is opened by President Joko Widodo or Vice Prediden Jusuf Kalla then the event will open on the morning of the 17th. If the Minister of Religious Affairs opens, then the event will take place at evening, said Rector IAIN Palu Prof. Dr. H. Sagaf S Pettalongi, M.Pd in the coordination meeting of the AICIS XVIII committee at the IAIN Palu Auditorium on Friday.

Prof. Sagaf Pettalongi stressed some things to the local committee to be seriously considered and matured for the success of AICIS XVIII in Palu.

First, pick up invited guests from inside and outside the country who arrived at Mutiara Sis Aljufri Palu airport.

"The technical implementation of this guest pick-up is one of the assessments of AICIS's success in Palu, so it is the transportation and the pick-up committee to immediately prepare the steps coordinating with the core committee," said Prof. Sagaf.

Each college 5 leaders, multiplied by 57 PTKIN. Therefore, all things must be prepared immediately. We will reserve hotel rooms for our guests, "he said.

Third, regarding the consumption at the time the guests arrive in Palu, the opening until during the implementation of AICIS XVIII, must be well prepared.
