Rector of IAIN Palu Prof. Dr. H Saggaf S Pettalongi MPd emphasized to the admission of new students not to complicate the college registrant of 2018.
“If the students who registered not completeing the administration yet, just accept it. Other administrations can follow, "said Rector Prof. Dr. H Saggaf S Pettalongi M.Pd.
Prof. Saggaf Pettalongi mentions every student of boarding school, madrasah aliyah, and high school equivalent alumni from various regions are entitled to study at IAIN Palu.
Therefore, the civil servants assigned to the new admissions department should not undermine and limit the right of applicants to study at IAIN Palu.
"IAIN is a state-owned university that is obliged to organize education to educate the life of the nation, so there should be no restrictions on the right of the people to pursue science at IAIN Palu," said Prof. Saggaf.
Not only that, IAIN will also help easing the burden of freshmen through bidikmisi program. This is as a form of responsibility and social awareness of the state through IAIN Palu in an effort to educate the nation's life by providing equitable access to education for the community.
Currently, explained Prof Saggaf, IAIN Palu began to open the process of admission of new students starting with the process of National Academic Achievement Selection - Entrance Exam (SPAN-UM) PTKIN 2018.
Beginning with PDSS filling agenda on January 30th - February 24th, PDSS Validation from 2nd February to 3rd March, Registration 1st - 29th March 2018, First stage selection process on April 9th - 14th, second stage selection on April 18th - 25th, announcement on May 1st, then registration on May 22, 2018.
Furthermore, UM-PTKIN line payments on April 12 - May 5, 2018, Registration 12 April - 8 May 2018, execution of the test on May 22, 2018, announcement on July 10, 2018. Then the local / self-registration path starting on May - August 2018.
