Palu, 27/3 (IAIN PR) - State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Palu, Central Sulawesi, pushed the increasement of accreditation value of all study programs attached to the three faculties of this state islamic institute.

Rector of IAIN Palu Prof. Dr. Sagaf S Pettalongi., M. Pd suggests one of the programs and efforts that become the focus of leadership work is the increase of accreditation value of study program.

     "Leaders of both institute level, faculty and department strive to increase the accreditation value from C to B, then B becomes A. We try all the study program to become A," said Prof. Dr. H Sagaf S Pettalongi MPd.

Prof. said. Sagaf Pettalongi in 2018, the National Accreditation Board (BAN) will announce the accreditation value of three courses at IAIN Palu, namely Islamic Education, Aqidah Philsafat and Arabic.

     Then, call Prof. Sagaf, in 2019 IAIN Palu will do the reacreditation of six courses to get good grades or predicate from BAN-PT.

     "We are trying to establish three accredited A study programs in 2018. So early 2019, we can get a score of six or seven courses because my communication with the center mentions that at least in a year we can re-accreditation," said Prof. Sagaf Pettalongi.

     These efforts are being boosted by training in human resources improvement involving experts and assessors from BAN-PT. This Education Management Specialist hopes that all elements of institute, faculties, units and institutions leaders within the IAIN can work together to focus on improving quality and doing maximum work for the improvement of the accreditation grade.

"Achieving the accreditation value of A is the estuary and expectation of all study programs and leaders A's value on accreditation indicates that IAIN Palu has achieved one of the quality improvement indicators as well as representing the quality so as to make it easier for IAIN Palu in competition," he said.

In addition to trying to realize the increase in the value of accreditation, said Prof Sagaf, IAIN Palu also seeks to realize the internationalization of PTKIN by opening international classes.

There is a Faculty of Ushuluddin Adab and Da'wah and Faculty of Sharia and Islamic Economics at IAIN Palu who will start opening international classes. IAIN will also promote internationally renowned study programs, such as the Human Rights and International Law Program for the Faculty of Sharia and Islamic Economics. Then Sociology and Social Conflict for Faculty Ushuluddin Adab and Da'wah, and scientists such as mathematics, Science, Biology for the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training.

     Prof. Dr. H. Sagaf S Pettalongi MPd became one of the speakers as well as opening the Training of Quality Document Formation of Ushuluddin Adab and Dakwah Faculty Studies Program, took place at IAIN Auditorium Palu, Monday 26 - 27 March 2018.
