Palu, (AICIS Public Relations) - The educational exhibition of the 18th Annual International Conference on Islamic Studies (AICIS) activities featured 122 scientific works.
"This exhibition cannot be separated from the spirit of AICIS," said Chancellor of IAIN Palu Prof. Dr. H Sagaf S Pettalongi MPd after opening an education expo, at IAIN Palu on Monday. Sagaf said that the spirit of AICIS cannot be separated from the concepts of moderate Islam or Islam wasathiyah.
That way, he said, the AICIS education exhibition refers to these concepts, by displaying literature and scientific work. Therefore, he said, the exhibition or expo greatly benefited the Palu State Islamic Institute.
"This Expo provides quite a lot of benefits to IAIN Palu and other PTKAIN," Sagaf said again.
Through the exhibition, the academic community can obtain information in writing or verbally with fellow universities under the auspices of the Ministry of Religion. He added that the exhibition was at the same time as a place to strengthen friendship among fellow academic members of the country's Islamic religious colleges.
The organizing committee of the education exhibition provided 100 more booths which were attended by 57 state Islamic religious colleges, universities throughout Palu City and several universities in Central Sulawesi.
